Import your Canvas course export

Drop a Canvas course-content ZIP, .zip, or .imscc export here. Steadypath reads both Canvas offline-viewer exports and Common Cartridge packages locally, then builds courses, modules, assignments, quizzes, pages, and a resource library.

Canvas calendar feed

The fastest no-password connection. Canvas feeds include assignments and calendar events from your enrolled course calendars.

Browser note: some schools block direct feed requests from local HTML files. The .ics import always stays on-device and is the reliable fallback.

What gets connected

One import updates existing LMS items instead of creating duplicates.

Build your courses

Create a course manually, customize a Canvas-imported course, or import a course pack generated from a syllabus.

Syllabus workflow: upload a syllabus to ChatGPT, receive a Steadypath course-pack JSON, then import it here with the class, icon, color, and dated work already structured.

Course canopy

Course colors follow imported deadlines across the dashboard.

Learning workspace

Use the course structure from the exportโ€”not just due dates. Browse modules, locate files and pages, mark materials reviewed, or schedule a resource into the calendar.

Course library

Deadline seed tray

The closest incomplete LMS items, ready to move into today's focus system.

Course archive status

The export supplies course structure and materials. It does not include your Canvas grades, submissions, or true completion status, so Steadypath tracks completion locally.

What the ZIP importer keeps

Course identities, modules, assignment and quiz due dates when present, discussions, pages, syllabi, and file names. Reimporting the same package refreshes metadata without duplicating assignments.

Opening files: imported metadata persists in the dashboard. To reopen an original PDF, slide deck, or HTML page after closing the browser, reselect the same export so Steadypath can access the ZIP contents again.
